Dymista nasal spray contains 2 active ingredients: azelastine and fluticasone. Azelastine is an antihistamine, which works by preventing the effects of histamine, resulting in a reduction in swelling, redness and itchiness. Fluticasone is a steroid, which helps to reduce inflammation. The 2 ingredients work in conjunction to alleviate the symptoms of hay fever.

First blow your nose then remove the protective cap from the product. Before the first use, press the pump several times until you get an even spray. Spray one spray into each nostril keeping your head upright, do not tilt your head back. Wipe the nozzle and replace the protective cap. This should be done once in the morning and once in the evening. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Can I use Dymista nasal spray while I am pregnant?
No. You should not use Dymista nasal spray if you are pregnant or breastfeeding until you have spoken to your doctor.
Can I drink alcohol whilst using Dymista nasal spray?
Drinking in moderation whilst using Dymista nasal spray is acceptable. However, it can increase your chances of suffering from side effects of the medication.
Side effects include:
- An unpleasant taste in the mouth
- Nose bleed
- An unpleasant smell
