About Betacap 0.1% Solution
Betacap 0.1% (Betamethasone) Scalp Solution is indicated for the topical treatment of dermatoses of the scalp, including psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis. Typically prescribed for short-term use and when weaker corticosteroids aren't effective.
It contains Betamethasone (as valerate) 0.1% w/w, a potent topical corticosteroid—a clear, colorless liquid highly effective in easing inflammation and soothing symptoms.

Directions
How to apply Betacap Scalp Application for scalp psoriasis?
Betacap is intended for scalp use only. Do not apply it to your face or any other part of your body. It is specifically formulated to treat scalp psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis.
For adults and the elderly:
Apply Betacap Scalp Application twice a day, in the morning and evening, until you see an improvement in your scalp condition. On days when shampooing your hair, apply Betacap Scalp Application after drying your hair.
Before application:
- Make sure your hair and scalp are fully dry before applying
- Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water
- Then dry your hands thoroughly before handling the bottle
Applying the solution:
- Carefully turn the bottle upside-down over your head, Holding the nozzle against the part of the scalp to be treated.
- Apply a thin layer of the liquid
- Then slowly massage the solution into the scalp with clean, dry fingers until it is evenly distributed
- Allow the solution to dry naturally. Do not use a hairdryer
- Leave the lotion on your scalp and Do NOT wash it off
- If you need to wash your hair, do so before applying the medication.
- Wash your hands thoroughly after applying Betacap every time.
- Repeat this process twice a day for adults and elderly
- Reduce application frequency as the condition improves or as directed by your doctor
- Talk to your doctor for a specific dosage and treatment duration.
Precautions during application:
Be extra careful to avoid contact with your face and eyes. If the solution gets into your eyes, rinse thoroughly with cool water for several minutes.
Warnings
- Betacap Scalp Application is dangerous DO NOT swallow it.
- Even small amounts of Betacap Scalp Application can be harmful.
If someone accidentally swallows Betacap Scalp Application, take the following emergency action:
- If they are drowsy or unconscious, do not give anything by mouth
- Encourage them to drink 1 or 2 cups of milk or water (one cup for a child), but stop if they start vomiting
- In all cases, take them to a doctor or hospital straight away
