Rhinolast nasal spray contains azelastine hydrochloride, which is an antihistamine used to treat hay fever. The body produces histamine during an allergic reaction, they are released in the inflammatory response, which results in the symptoms of hay fever. Rhinolast works by preventing the effects of histamine that the body produces.

First blow your nose then remove the protective cap from the product. Before the first use, press the pump several times until you get an even spray.

Spray one spray into each nostril keeping your head upright, do not tilt your head back. Wipe the nozzle and replace the protective cap. This should be done once in the morning and once in the evening. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Side effects include:

• Nasal irritation
• An unpleasant taste in the mouth
• Nose bleeds
