Looking to relieve hay fever and allergy symptoms fast?

Beconase nasal spray is a prescription-only inhaler available in the UK. When looking to relieve allergies and hay fever, using a beclometasone nasal inhaler on a daily basis releases copies of regular bodily steroids, helping the body fight symptoms.

At Ashcroft, you can buy Beconase nasal spray online safely and conveniently, providing effective, long-lasting relief from symptoms like sneezing, nasal congestion, and itchy or watery eyes.

Follow these 3 simple steps to order Beconase now:

    1. Fill out a consultation form to determine your eligibility for Beconase Nasal Spray.

    3. If approved, your Beconase will be dispatched in discreet packaging.

  • Why is Beconase nasal spray popular?

  • How Beconase steroid nasal spray works

Beconase aqueous nasal spray is administered through the nostrils on a twice-daily basis.

It's highly effective because it works right where the problem starts, which is in the nose, compared to tablets, which take a longer period of time to work effectively.

For younger children, smaller doses are recommended for the medicine to work efficiently and effectively.

  • How long does Beconase nasal spray take to work?

Beconase can take up to 2 days of usage before you start to experience relief from symptoms. If needed, beclometasone nasal inhalers can be used preemptively in advance of symptoms, in order to help lessen the impact of hay fever or allergies.

How to use Beconase Nasal Spray

Directions of use for Beconase steroid nasal spray.

If this is your first time using a nasal spray, follow this procedure and NHS guidance before administering Beconase into your nostrils.

Prime your Beconase nasal inhaler:

  • The spray is now ready to use.
  • Hold it upright and press the nozzle several times (usually 5–6) until a fine mist appears.
  • Shake the bottle well.

  • Shake the bottle and remove the dust cap.
  • Gently blow your nose to clear your nostrils.
  • Close one nostril with your fingers. Hold the spray with your thumb at the bottom and your index and middle fingers on the sides of the nozzle.
  • Place the nozzle in the other nostril and lean your head slightly forward.
  • Breathe in gently, and while still breathing, press down firmly on the collar with your fingers. A spray of fine mist will be released into your nostril.
  • Breathe out and repeat the same procedure for the other nostril

After you are done using your spray, make sure to wipe out the nozzle with a clean tissue and replace the dust cap.

Make sure to follow your pharmacist's instructions on how to use Beconase nasal spray. The intranasal spray should not be used by children under the age of six. You should use the medicine regularly, at least twice a day, to get better results.

Adults and children of 6 years and older should start their dose by administering 2 sprays per nostril twice a day. The maximum number of sprays to be administered in 24 hours should be 8, that is, 4 sprays per nostril.

The pharmacist may advise you to take 8 sprays per day only when your symptoms spike and lower the number to 4 sprays per day when symptoms are lower.

FAQ

  • Can I use Beconase nasal spray with antihistamines?

Yes. There are no interactions between the two.

  • Is Beconase nasal spray a steroid?

Yes, therefore this medication should not be used for more than 3 months.

  • Does beconase-steroid nasal spray reduce mucus buildup in the throat?

The nasal steroid spray inhibits secretions such as mucus, hence preventing mucus buildup in the throat.

Mainly, Beconase is designed to reduce inflammation in the nasal passages, which can help decrease post-nasal drip — a common cause of mucus buildup in the throat. By reducing swelling and irritation in the nose, it may indirectly help lessen mucus drainage into the throat, but it’s not specifically made to treat throat mucus.

  • What is the difference between Beconase adults and kids?

The only difference is the size of the spray tip. Beconase for kids dispense smaller amounts compared to that of adults.

  • Where can you buy Beconase Aqueous Nasal Spray online in the UK?

The medication is available at well-stocked pharmacies. Visit Ashcroft Pharmacy to buy yours today.

  • Does Beconase Aqueous Nasal Spray work immediately?

It is administered directly to your nostrils, providing action against further pollen exposure.

  • What is the generic name for Beconase?

The generic name for Beconase is beclometasone.

  • What happens if Beconase spray is not shaken before use?

Shaking helps form a proper layer of protection on the nasal mucosa. Shaking also helps in dispensing it as finely sprayed particles.

  • Is Beconase nasal spray a decongestant?

Not exactly. Beconase isn't a typical decongestant, but it contains an active ingredient that reduces swelling in the nasal membranes, making it easier to breathe through your nose and sleep comfortably.

  • How long after opening a Beconase nasal inhaler can you use it?

Beconase nasal inhalers should be used within 3 months of being opened.
