- Clean and dry the affected area gently. Avoid harsh scrubbing.
Apply a thin layer only on the affected area, twice daily, until the skin condition improves. Once symptoms subside, consider stopping treatment or switching to an alternative therapy, such as a regular emollient.
Don't use it for more than 2 weeks without talking to your doctor. If your condition hasn't improved within two weeks, seek your doctor’s advice for the alternative treatment.

Hydrocortisone calms the sore skin and rebuilds the barrier, while Fusidic Acid works by stopping the bacteria growing and increasing in number. The bacteria then die or our immune system kills them.
This double-action soothes the symptoms and recovers the infection. But a doctor's prescription is required and only works for bacterial eczema.
